MONTH OF FESTIVALS

Children came dressed as Radha & Krishna. They made decorated dahi handis, flutes and crowns. The story behind the festival was enacted by teachers and children enjoyed breaking Dahi handi and

dancing .

Under the unit Songs and Rhymes children visited Joggers park and learnt different rhymes related to the garden.

Children made artistic alphabets, numbers, flowers, animals, etc out of clay. This helped them in their fine motor skills

development .

The story behind the festival was told to the children and they made photo frame and wall hangings of

Ganesha.

Portfolios and children’s work were displayed and explained to the parents by the children. Parents enjoyed the rhymes sung by the children related to the inquiry topic
