Four teachers from our computer department, Mrs. Amisha Nair, Mrs. Mehali Shah, Mrs. Gauri Deshpande and Mrs. Shweta Patil attended the launch of Computer Masti Series of books in collaboration with InOpen Technologies and IIT Mumbai on 19 February, 2010 at IIT Powai. Jointly they also had an interactive hands on workshop on innovative way of teaching computer science in schools.
Mrs. Sangeeta Mehrish and Mrs. Kairavi Ahmed attended a two-day conference ‘Gram Sabha 2010’ on 04 and 05 February, 2010 organized by ‘we school’, the Welingkars organized by ‘we school,’ the Welingkar’s Institute of Management Development & Research, Mumbai, to explore Management at the grassroots. The objective of their effort was to interact with grass root level players, to bring home the issues relevant to development and management for sustainable growth.

Four of our Std. XI (ISC) students, Commerce Stream also got the opportunity to attend this two day conference.
The School took up this extraordinary education and awareness program for Energy Conservation Drive by ‘TATA POWER ENERGY CLUB’ for Std. V to VIII. The program is to educate, sensatise and encourage young students to curb wasteful usage of power and also to inculcate the habit of energy saving and conservation in young students. It encompasses the following initiatives:
Sensitisation in the classroom; informing the students of the adverse affects of excessive and unrestrained energy consumption. Also imbibing in students basic practices towards energy conservation.
