ACHIEVERS

Spelling is a tool to write down the language. It is also an integral part of the skills required to read and write.

Shivang Srivastava won at the National Level in the MaRRS International Spelling Bee Competition 2008-09 held at Thrissur, Kochi on 22 May 2009. He secured first place in category 3, a cash prize of Rs 5,000/-, trophy, gold medal and gift vouchers. He also won the best performance prize in Category 3 and 4.

Shreya Srivastava won third place at the State level in Pune earlier. Both will participate in the International Championship.

Heena Sharma of Std VII, Mansi Jain of Std VIII and Anjana Mhenda of Std VI won prizes for their essays to NDTV 24 x 7 on the ‘Seven Wonders of India’. Eva Panchal of Std VIII, Shrimi Mody of Std VIII and Urvi Gala won prizes for their drawings submitted to NDTV 24 x 7 ‘Seven Wonders of India Contest’.

NIE Excellence Award were given to the following students:
Anushrav Gulati, Akshay AV, Tanisha Chaudhary, Varun Krishnan, Gautam Thakur and Tanvi Kulkarni

Air India Rank Award : Sach Arora of Std X received trophy and certificate of recognition – the AIR INDIA Rank Award for students for promoting the concept of towards the responsible and active citizenship and help preserve a crumbling environment.

NSTSE – Mr Harshit Malik of Std XII secured Rank Three in Mumbai at the Unified Council National Level Science Talent Search Examination (nstse). He also secured rank 126 at he national level.

Our Principal, Mrs Norina Fernandes was awarded the Best Principal Award by the Science Olympiad Foundation for her continuous support rendered for the popularization of Science, Mathematics and IT. They honored her with a trophy, cash prize and a certificate

Alisha Arif Kalwatai of V F (B School) was adjudged a mega winner at the All India Navneet Drawing Competition 2008 and awarded a School Bag Prize and a certificate.
