Special Assembly (Std V) all divisions was held on 17 June, 2009. |
|
| |
Another attractive feature of this academic year was the introduction of special assembly. For Std V, this was held at R N. Podar Hall.; The theme for the assembly was an important human value ‘ FORGIVENESS’ - (mend and repair the past to be at peace within and to be happy). Selected pupils from all divisions participated in the assembly with the inclusion of the daily prayer and thought for the day. A value- based skit on forgiveness was both captivating and fun. Students were also given an opportunity to know facts through childhood experiences of Thomas Alva Edison- inventor of electric bulb.
This was concluded by the Headmistress, Ms. S Chopra addressing the children of Std V and congratulating them for a wonderful effort. The special assemblies will help us to heal ourselves, reflect and reach out to others. |
