SERVICE ACTIVITIES

Std X and XI classes for March 2010 had resumed in April and continued for the entire month. Std X students completed their SUPW and Community component and all divisions from X – A to X- I met different NGO’s interacted with them and were assigned some activity by each as follows:

X A	Dignity Foundation (Old Age and Senior Citizens) had a two hour program with a documentary and follow up activity for their own magazine.
X B	Help Age India presentation and activity
X C	The Blind Association
X D	Dial 1298 for Ambulance on First –Aid and Basic Life support Awareness
X E	Goonj- Presentation and interactive session with students followed by Poster making
X F	Red Cross Society of India
X G	Garbage Concern on waste water recycling
X H	Shanti Avenda Sadan from Cancer Aid Society, Bandra (west)
X I	Cancer patients aid association on tobacco and health awareness

GOONJ NGO also collected a whole lot of old text and exercise books and other articles donated generously by our students on the last Open House day in April.
