Interhouse Slogan and Poster Making Competition was held for the students of Std. Ist to 8th. They wrote slogans on Independence Day and decorated the posters in many innovative ways.

This competition helped to develop their language skills.

Podar Complex Security Department organized a session exhibiting the usage of different Fire Extinguisher’s of different levels in case of an emergency. Mr. Tripathy was the Speaker. It was attended by the Head’s,SSC and IB Staff.

STD: I to VIII and X
Parent’s response was good feedback was positive.

Podar Complex Security Department organized Fire Safety mock drill of various emergency exits in case of calamity. The Heads and the entire staff of SSC and IB were led by Dr. Vandana Lulla.

A Clay moulding Activity was held for students of STD I to IV. Each child moulded the clay in various shapes of Ganpati idols, flowers, teddy bears etc.

The activity was basically to develop and enhance their creative skills and imaginative thinking.

Podar World School Director/Principal Dr. Vandana Lulla along with SSC Principal Mrs.Kumud Piplani hoisted the tricolor flag. A surprise entertainment programme paved way, surfacing the hidden talents of the SSC & IB teachers followed by a sumptuous meal.

That was to be conducted from 25th August’09 to 31st August, 09 stands cancelled as per the order of the Education Department of Maharashtra State Board.

To get the first hand information of a factory and develop interest in scientific inventions, a field trip was organized for the students of Std IV to Pinstern Engineering Works, Khira Industrial Estate

It was an exciting, educational and informative visit.

To help the students understand the needs and importance of the underprivileged, a social service visit was organized at SHEERIN MUNCHERJI NAVROJI BANNAJI BLIND WORKSHOP.

The students observed that one’s strong willpower makes one self dependent inspite of being visually handicapped.
