Students of Std. I – IV had a folder making and decoration competition. The evaluation was done on the basis of creativity, neatness and attractiveness. The purpose of the competition was to enhance the creative skill and to develop the love for art. |

An Interhouse Hindi Elocution competition was conducted for the students of Std. III – VIII. It unfolded the students’ imagination which enabled them to improve their oratory skills.

An Orientation for the parents of Std. 1 was organized to make them aware of the school discipline and their role as parents in relation to the rules and regulations of the school.
The Principal focussed to wear proper school uniform, P.T. uniform, to check School Organiser on regular basis, to bring healthy food and no junk food for recess.
Healthy interaction took place between the school staff and parents.

An activity of the photo frame making and decoration was conducted for the Students of Std. I – IV. It made the students aware of their creativity and each student took great interest in making and decorating their photo frame. |

 Investiture Ceremony
It is rightly stated that “Leadership is all about uplifting the minds of individuals towards fulfilling his/her own goals in life.”
Chief guest Mrs. Shalini Sharma(PSI-Crime Branch) and Ravikant Tripathi(singer of Indian Idol - 2)and Dr. Vandana Lulla (Director/Principal of Podar World School) graced the occasion. The function started with lighting of the lamp by the principal and the guest followed by a prayer dance and welcome song.
The guests were invited on-stage to hand over the sashes and house flags to the respective office bearers. The Chief Guest then proceeded to address the office-bearers, on how he wished them to perform their duties, in accordance to the laws of the school and spoke about the qualities of a true leader. Dr. Vandana Lulla too inspired and motivated the office bearers, with her generous words of wisdom and made them aware to be proud Podarites.
The newly elected school office bearers Headboy and Headgirl for the academic session 2010-2011 are: Master Dhawal Chauhan and Miss Sana Khatri. In the end the newly appointed council committee, took an oath and assured that they would carry out their duties to the best of their abilities and would try their best to live up to the expectations of the students and teachers.
The solemn ceremony of investiture was finally concluded with a vote of thanks and the National Anthem.
